Gum in her hair is a very unpleasant situation, especially if this “product” was on the head of women.Owners of beautiful and long hair, do not panic! There are several ways to get rid of the chewing gum without harming the hair.
Method number 1. Cooling
It may seem strange, but this is the most effective way to safely shake the chewing gum. To do this, you need to freeze it. Once it has cooled to the desired state, it is necessary to break it or crumble it. How to freeze?
Most often, the hair is immersed in a container of cold water and a little salt is added there, which helps to cool the liquid quickly.
Please note that the procedure will take you time. And if you do not want to harm your hair, it is better to wait at least 20 minutes.
Situations are different, often the chewing gum is on the head of children who can share this “gift” with a friend during the game. For this reason, it can appear in any part of the head, and in this case it will not be possible to lower the hair into the container.
In this case, take a few ice cubes and rub them with gum, carefully processing each millimeter.
If there is no ice under your hands, use the frozen products that you have in the freezer.Meat tray, frozen vegetables - these products will work too. Gently put them on the gum and wait.
So, you managed to crush or break it partially - do not worry. Dip your hair in warm water to make the gum soft again, melt a little, and freeze it again.
To make it easier, knead it with your fingers so that it becomes very thin - this way it will easily and quickly freeze and then crumble like ice.
Small remnants in the form of crumbs are well removed by a comb - for this, take a comb, preferably with frequent and thin teeth.
Gum are different in size and composition of substances, so do not be superfluous to wash your hair, wash them with shampoo and dry well.
Method number 2. Products that have every home
These methods are tested in our country more than once! To remove the gum from the hair you may need the familiar products that are in the kitchen - sunflower / olive oil or tea soda.
This method is good if the gum has not yet had time to dry and harden.
In the case of vegetable oil, it is necessary to lubricate the hair with it (it will take a small amount) so that the ruminant gum is well soaked.
Put a towel on the shoulders of the “victim” in advance so as not to stain your clothes or carpet. Wait 10-15 minutes and gently remove the gum by hand.
If the situation is very serious, first freeze the gum as described above, and then try to lubricate its remaining parts with oil. The result is 100%.
You can peel the chewing gum by using another available remedy, baking soda. Prepare pasta in advance, for which we mix 1-2 tablespoons of soda with 1-2 teaspoons of water.
Stir well and apply it to the "affected" area of hair. We are also waiting for 10-15 minutes until the gum dries. Further, not quite a pleasant procedure - combing, but soda helps to make it as painless as possible.
Method number 3. Toothpaste
An alternative to baking soda can serve as toothpaste.
To do this, put a little toothpaste, give it to soak the cud and gently separate around the matted hair.
That is, the procedure should be carried out in stages. For 3-4 "approach" you will get rid of it completely.
Method number 4. Vaseline
Another common remedy for chewing gum on the hair is petroleum jelly. The principle of application is the same - apply it on your hair, stretching it well with your fingers, and then remove the gum.
Method number 5. Silicone-based hair drops
Not everyone has this cosmetic, not even every girl, but if you still have the remedy in your arsenal, be sure to use it. Most often it is used to get rid of split ends of hair.
A clear liquid is applied to the hair for 5-10 minutes. After that, it envelops each hair, as if “clogging” it, and then easily separates it from the ruminant gum.
