Thanks to this solution, you can beautifully and successfully disguise all communications in the interceiling space, as well as automatically level all existing irregularities of the ceiling. This will make it possible to build in spotlights, and in this case you will not have to plaster and putty anything. But before you start installing suspended ceilings, you have to find the answer to the question of how to calculate the ceiling.
Types of suspended ceilings
Before proceeding to the calculations, for the beginning we will get acquainted with the types of suspended ceilings. Designs there are a great many. They were created in order to implement any design ideas and to satisfy any requirements that are placed on the premises. A variety of materials makes it possible to solve the following problems: fire safety, ventilation, sound insulation and many others. At the same time works are performed in a short time, and no additional finishing is required. A standard suspension system costs so much that it can be installed even by a person with minimal income.
The most common are ceilings, in which the type of frame - hidden. In such a ceiling there are visible elements - these are plates and panels. But there may also be hidden guide profiles. One of the necessary elements of ceilings of this type is a suspension, and in order to adjoin the walls to look beautiful, use the so-called wall decorative details.
Go to the calculations
How to calculate a false ceiling? You need to start with the number of mounts. They are calculated as follows: for example, a dowel can hold ten kilograms. This means that for every ten kilograms of the ceiling, not one but five dowels will be used. Thus, we are reinsured by as much as five hundred percent. In this case, the ceiling deflection can be 1/250 of the span length, that is, it should practically be absent. Between the ceiling and the false ceiling there must be space to ensure good ventilation. In addition, the design involves providing easy access to communications.
Cassette suspension systems are the most common. The sizes of cassette plates are 60x10, 60x60, 120x60, 120x120 cm.
How to calculate the ceiling area? On the example of 60x60 plates, the whole calculation can be considered. This is a standard size, which is used both in residential premises and in offices and public buildings. Guide profiles with lengths of 370, 60 and 120 cm are required. To calculate the number of 370's, multiply the area of the ceiling by a factor of 0.84. Using the same formula, calculate the 60s. And to calculate the 120th, you need to multiply the area by 1.68. The wall profile in this case will be equal to the perimeter.
