As Interfax reports with reference to the CEC, at the moment polling stations have closed in Sakhalin, Irkutsk, Magadan, Tomsk, Kemerovo, Amur, Novosibirsk regions; Kamchatka, Zabaikalsky, Primorsky, Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk, Altai Territories; Republics of Buryatia, Sakha (Yakutia), Tyva, Khakassia, Altai, as well as in the Chukotka and Jewish Autonomous Region.
Earlier, the CEC said that voter turnout in the presidential elections in Russia as of 17:00 Moscow time was 51.9%.
