Belarus in the event of economic problems may lose its independence and become part of another state, said President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting during a working visit to the Mogilev region. The name of this other state was not mentioned by the Belarusian president.
Many media outlets paid attention to these words, but they did not get into the publication on the president’s website following the results of the trip.
“They came to the planning meeting, they planned to do it. It’s the only reason for non-fulfillment — death. We’re at the front. If we don’t stand these years, if we fail, then we’ll have to go to the state or just wipe us legs.Or, God forbid, they will start a war in Belarus, like in Ukraine, ”Lukashenka said at a meeting on June 22 in the Shklov district.
During his working visit, Lukashenko sharply criticized the work of local officials and the situation in the agricultural sector in general. “If you want, take guns and bring order here,” he told the officials.
It should be noted that these quotes were not included in previous reports [of the largest Belarusian state news agency] BelTA from this meeting, as well as in the review of the Lukashenko press service. But these words can be found in the [TV channel] ONT report.
