There are several halls in the museum. One looks like a cheese cellar. Here we were told the story of the appearance of cheese and its, so to speak, first steps in the history of mankind. There are various versions of the appearance of cheese. One of them tells that a long time ago one traveler took a bag of milk with him on the road, but the weather was such that the milk turned into an unusual clot. The traveler is interested in the resulting unusual product ...so began the history of cheese.
But this, of course, is only one of the legends)
Moving to another room, there is already a more modern period.
And everywhere we are met by cows) All the walls are hung with various informational posters and paintings. Presented a lot of dishes for the manufacture of cheese and other products from milk.

Outside the window she grazes a whole herd of cows. And on the wall there is a screen with a video of a grazing flock. Atmospheric.
In the corridors you can find figures and other animals from whose milk I make cheeses. Sheep, moose and donkeys. Elk milk cheese is not cheap, because elk milk gives very little. In a small room you can play an interactive game. We jump on the floor and do not give the mice to eat all the cheese
Minute interesting facts about cheese:
There is no personality cult in the country ...
We rise to the second floor to other halls. In the museum, everything is thought out to the smallest detail on the cheese theme. The next room is the most modern, it tells about the current production of cheese.
I did not even know that there are so many different devices for cheese. But fondue is a familiar thing, a good delicacy by the way is obtained.

During the tour, they will also play with you, give riddles, in general, the museum is just great, it was invented very cool. Just do not tell, be sure to go.
In the end we had a tasting of Kostroma and not only cheeses. She had a choice of red / white wine and juice.
Before each sample, we were told about each type of cheese, what taste characteristics it has and with which it is better to use it. Well, they asked to guess what kind of cheese, I guessed two options. Basically, we got the soft types of cheeses, but there was a couple of more solid. Types for tastings can vary, depending on what purchased.
I can not say that I am a fan of Kostroma cheese, but solid varieties were quite good.
Informational posters hang on the walls of the tasting room; you can see combinations of cheeses and wines on them.
Before you leave, everyone can buy their favorite cheeses here in the shop.
